We built Backporch Naturals because mosquitoes had taken our evenings, and every option we tried asked us to spray, burn or coat ourselves in something first.
A family problem, then a product
Like many families, we had a beautiful backyard we could not enjoy because mosquitoes drove us indoors. We wanted an effective option that did not rely on yard-wide spraying, smoke, or skin-applied repellents.
So we went the other direction: instead of chasing adults across the yard, we built a contained Station that works on the developing mosquitoes in the water. Then we put it through five PhD-led efficacy studies before we asked anyone to trust it.
What we hold ourselves to
Five PhD-led efficacy studies. Tested against Culex, Aedes and Anopheles. We say what the data supports and nothing more.
Plant-derived actives stay in the Station water when used as directed. Not sprayed across flowers, beds and borders.
Durable polypropylene Stations designed for season-after-season use. Only the Pods run out.
